Neuropsychiatry Journal intends to publish peer-reviewed articles addressing neuropsychiatric disorders in particular by increasing, integrating, and disseminating knowledge of researchers, clinicians, and educators in major subjects such as clinical neuropsychiatry, cognitive neuropsychiatry, neuroimaging, neuropsychology of mental illness, behavioral neurology, neuropsychology and the cognitive neurosciences. The journal features original articles, concisely written clinical and research reports, perspectives on emerging trends in the field, and classic pieces from the field 's rich history.

The aim of the journal is to flourish latest developments and evaluate the current achievements in every field of neuropsychiatry and Neuroscience Psychology. It provides a platform for the interaction of these disciplines.

The journal publishes the articles under Open access mode for the easy access and globalized visibility.

It includes psychiatric difficulties and co-existing neurological conditions including: demyelinating diseases, encephalitis, movement disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, seizures, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Such conditions may be associated with psychological or behavioral symptoms such as aggression, mania, anxiety, obsessions, compulsions, psychosis, depression and self-injurious behaviors.

Released First Special Issue - 2017: Epilepsy and Associated Comorbidities

Journal welcomes experimental, theoretical or clinical papers that take into account both brain and mind. More specifically, papers that emphasize the integration of the dynamic, intrapsychic or interpersonal world of subjectivity and mental life, either conscious or unconscious and manipulations of brain structure and function are invited. Submissions are subject to double-blind peer review before they are accepted for publication. In addition, target papers on selected topics are solicited from leading researchers and published together with invited commentaries from neuroscientific peers.
