Neuroendocrinology of emotion regulation and suicide risk in adolescents

The Research Domain Criteria project (RDoC) of the National Institute of Mental Health has advanced global interest in elaborating the biologic correlates to
observable behavior. Suicide is a leading cause of adolescent mortality in the USA and the UK, and it carries weight as a clinically important behavior in which to develop neurobiological models. The goal is to identify new and better therapeutic targets for suicide prevention.
